Mr. Goyal started his association with Angelique Overseas Pvt. Ltd. more than 25 years ago after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Textiles (B.E.Textiles) at the Technological Institute of Textiles in Bhiwani, a premier institution in India. Mr. Goyal shares the same vision as his father, the Founder Chairman Late Daya Krishna Goyal had: to make Angelique International limited a truly global EPC company.

Mr. Goyal proved his worth early on, and became an indispensable member of the organization moving from the textiles business to the EPC business. It was his hard work and immense dedication that helped him secure the key position and responsibility of the Managing Director by the Board of Directors of the Company in 2003. Since then, with the objective of transforming Angelique International Limited into a world-class EPC conglomerate, Mr. Goyal has led a transformational process in Angelique International Limited with focus on responsible sustainable development, best human resources, as well as related practices, technological upgradation with innovation, expansion in the renewable energy sector, and business development through the globe. For his exemplary leadership and foresight, he was awarded the Most Promising Entrepreneurship Award by Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award in 2011.

His leadership has seen a remarkable increase across all parameters of business performance - market capitalization, consolidated turnover and net worth. He also drove the re-structuring of the conglomerate to facilitate aggressive growth across a large revenue base. For his vision, he was also recognized as the Dynamic Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015 by Franchise India Holdings Limited. Today, Angelique stands firm with 32 plus international offices, 500 plus manpower with an annual turnover of approximately USD 250 million. It was conferred the Certificate of Excellence in recognition of exemplary growth awarded by INC 500 in 2011.

In addition to the aforementioned, he has also been extremely tenacious and hard working to ensure success of any and every project that Angelique International Limited has undertaken. It is not surprising, thus, that under his guidance and management, the company is now implementing its ambitious plans to diversify into renewable energy sectors in India and Africa, and also increase its presence in the Latin American and other global markets, besides ensuring its strong presence in India. Angelique has achieved excellence and won accolades through landmark projects in Nyabarongo Hydro-Electric Project, Rwanda (awarded Second Best Project of the Year 2015 by PMI); Salma Dam, Afghanistan; Ivory Coast (Transmission Line Project - Inter connection between Mali and Ivory Coast ); Repair and maintenance workshops for water supply at Erbil, Iraq and IT Park, Swaziland to name a few.

A concern for social and welfare issues complement Mr. Goyal’s overall keen business interests and versatile personality. His winning attitude has been instrumental in setting up the Angelique Foundation, which undertakes a wide spectrum of community development work in the sector of education and Health with special interest in women empowerment through education at several locations around the country.
